WHO WE ARE
Strengthening The Relationship
Treff Bangla is dedicated to strengthening the relationship between Bangladesh and Germany, fostering integration, sharing knowledge about Germany’s socio-economic and political aspects, promoting cultural understanding, developing intercultural pedagogical skills, preserving Bengali language and music, and participating in intercultural and international events. Our aim is to create a more inclusive and harmonious society, building on the long-standing friendship between Bangladesh and Germany.
Our Journey
We are together
We got a personal invitation from the Stadt Krefeld to participate that year's Interkulturelle Woche. We took the opportunity and participated the event as 'Team Bangladesh'. We were overwhelmed by the visiotrs' reaction.
Inspiration Thrives to Reality
After participating the Interkulturelle Woche- 2022, we were amazed. We got countless inspirations to be united, to build a community for the Bangladeshi people living in Germany. We decided to do something to empower us, as well as to showcase Bangladesh to the German people.
Bringing The Community
After forming Treff Bangla we wanted to do something special. We wanted to gather Bangladeshi people living around us. At the same time we wanted to show our culture and heritage to all the nationalities. We introduced Bangladesh Food Festival in Krefeld for the first time. That was just small leap towards our endless path.
The First Recognition
We were again invited by the Stadt Krefeld. But this time not as the Team Bangladesh, but as Treff Bangla. We had several meetings with the city officials. We discussed on our vision and mission. Stadt Krefeld expressed a deep concern to work with Treff Bangla in near future in the field of intigration. And Treff Bangla participated this year's Interkulturelle Woche officially.

We develop educational materials and support school partnerships to promote intercultural understanding and preserve the Bengali language and culture in Germany.

We participate in intercultural events to foster dialogue and appreciation between the Bangladeshi community and the wider German society.
International Understanding
We host events and publish materials to increase awareness and understanding of Bangladesh's rich culture, history, and achievements, fostering global cooperation and collaboration.
Community Support & Engagement
Community Support & Engagement: Providing resources and support to help Bangladeshi immigrants and refugees integrate into German society and actively participate in community life.
